I am excited to share that since my last message, we have opened applications for committees. It's inspiring to see the continued interest and involvement from so many of you.

Reflecting on the community we’ve built at ISSVA, I feel privileged to call you not only colleagues but also friends. As we approach the end of the year, I want to reiterate that your feedback is always welcome. Please feel free to reach out with any ideas or suggestions on how we can further strengthen our organization.

The Editorial staff of JOVA is issuing a Call for Papers. This peer reviewed, open access journal is dedicated to the discovery and report of the scientific investigation, diagnosis, and treatment of congenital and acquired human vascular lesions. JOVA is indexed in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) and is available worldwide on Ovid®. Some manuscripts already have PubMed IDs.

We are accepting the following article types:

Submit today to ISSVA’s journal dedicated to Vascular Anomalies. Expedited review and publication! ISSVA members get discounted open access publication fee of only $250.

Membership Corner

Opportunities are now open to join an ISSVA Committee or Working Group. The ISSVA Board of Directors has recently approved several new opportunities to facilitate involvement for ISSVA members! We are looking forward to working with you more closely through these avenues.

Upcoming Opportunities

 

ISSVA Debates & Updates 2025: Call for Cases Now Open

The ISSVA Debates & Updates 2025 Call for Cases portal is now open! The submission portal will be open until Sunday, 1 December 2024 at 11:59 PM CST. 

Cases will be submitted in PDF form, with a 5-slide requirement. Only cases submitted in the following format will be reviewed. Make sure that your case is ready in this format prior to starting your submission. We will not be limiting the number of submissions per person/group/institution, however, we keep the number of acceptances per institution in mind to have a balanced program.

If you are aware of an upcoming educational opportunity, meeting or other item of interest that should be included, please let us know at info@issva.org so we can review the item and, if appropriate, share it with our membership in our next newsletter.
