President's Message

Greetings ISSVA members!

We are busy planning the "Debates and Updates" meeting, which will be held in Boston, United States 19-21 April 2023. We invite you to Submit Cases for possible presentation/discussion by 9 December 2022.

The ISSVA "Debates & Updates" 2023 Meeting will be held in a hybrid in-person / virtual format and there will be limited in-person attendance so we encourage you to register quickly after it is opened. For further details, please visit the "Debates & Updates" 2023 Meeting Website.

Stay tuned for updates regarding the ISSVA Classification. The updates will be in several stages, including updated terminology, a new interface and an ongoing project to make this a “living document” enabling further updates. We also plan to add more features to enrich the educational content by including a glossary, photos, imaging and histology. In the coming months we will be in touch to share these changes and to request any comments you may have.

I wish you all a healthy and peaceful holiday season. Stay safe and be well.

Warm regards,

Francine Blei, MD, MBA
President, ISSVA

ISSVA "Debates & Updates" 2023 (Boston)

We hope you are able to join our "Debates & Updates" Meeting in Boston, United States 19-21 April 2023. At this time, we invite you to submit a case for the meeting and are asking for your most interesting, complicated, compelling, innovative and interdisciplinary dilemmas and controversies.

We are looking for the conundrums; cases that make our heads hurt; cases that, at first make sense, but something in our investigation did not fit (like a phenotype that did not go along with the genotype found); innovative therapeutic options; disorders that do not have an exact diagnosis, etc.

Submit Your Case

Call for submissions closes on Friday, 09 December 2022 at 11:59 pm, US Eastern Time.
