Thank you to all of our delegates for attending Debates & Updates 2023! We are grateful for your participation.
ISSVA appreciates all members and wants to ensure transparent communication on all issues including COVID-19. As we are all aware COVID-19 is still present. We have been notified that two attendees at the conference have since tested positive for COVID-19. As physicians, we all know the risk of COVID-19 transmission. Given that nearly 300 people traveled to and attended the meeting, while unfortunate, it is not surprising that some attendees have COVID-19.
We ask all members to monitor their symptoms and follow current national guidelines on testing and quarantine, as well as their individual institution guidelines. For the privacy of our members, we will not release the health status of any member. Be well and thank you for attending the meeting.
